Hey Tom,
I had the same problem 8 months back. I could access certain websites but others
didn't load. My security suite would not update and so on...
Tried lot of workarounds including contacting my ISP but didn't help
Atlast, I found a solution suggesting me to change my modem MTU setting. It worked
but I still couldnot comprehend why that had happened in the first place.
Changing the MTU setting requires help. You may google for it (I did it that way)
and follow instructions. Please post back whether it worked in your case.
