Hello,
Computer was working fine this morning, but this afternoon when I turned it on, the
screen flickered, then a very dark "shade" went over the entire screen, and now I
must shine a light to it in order to se whatever I'm doing, the screen has become
dark and I can't seem to fix it. It's happened before on other computers but by
turning the monitor off and on, the screen returns to normal, but this one remains
"dark". Can barely just see the screen now as I type this. Any ways to fix this?
Please do not tell me the monitor is broken, because it's a nice 250 dollar one
that I've had for only a year.

I'm sure this problem has been mentioned and discussed before, but if I could see
my monitor clearly, I'd have a better time searching instead of asking. Thank you
in advance for any and all help.

-John
