So I've downloaded Vista 64bit twice now. Both times it says the iso file is around
4gb. When the installation is done I have a 13.7mb iso file. I run setup and it says
it isn't a valid win32 app. What is going on?

64bit applications cannot run on 32bit platform, boot from DVD to perform installation
and/or download 32bit version (my personal recommendation for now unless you you
have already confirmed all your hardware, including external devices like printers,
scanners, etc have 64bit drivers)

Its simple really, divide 64bit by 4 and it gives you roughly 13.9999 gb, whereas
if you divide 32bit by 4 and then further divide by 2 because its half of 64 bit
you get 4gb. This simple equation means your pc is actually a semperon chip running
a transmeta overclocker, which is totall compatible with Windows Vista delta, service
pack 3.2a.
So all you need to do is to install that version which takes up the new 2GB cd format
only supported by the panasonic hybrid cd player specifically designed for the Xbox
180 but never productionised (its revolutionary design was to have the cd under the
xbox, unfortunately the diskcs kept falling out while playing.)
Hopefully this sorts your problem out, if not, may i suggest you download the alternative
version of Vista provided by Microsofts bodgittndlegitt division. This can be found
at www.microsoft.com/dudOS. This apparently is backward compatible to a Sinclair
ZX80 and can be loaded into 4k of RAM.
:>)
Just ask i have loads more to share dudes....

Josh,
which link were you using? the microsoft download manager? or your own? It doesn't
sound like the file was downloading properly, how long was it taking until it said
it was finished?
I used the MS Download manager, it did drop a couple of times, but as long as you
keep that IE screen running (you can minimise it) it resumes ok.

I have the same problem.
I was able to download the 32bit version of vista - 4GB, but not the 64bit version
(13.7MB)!!!
Obviously MS have ballsed it all up in some morron way. MS must have failed to post
the correct 64bit file, and put some 13MB file up instead. And it is 13.7MB, as it
downloaded in 20seconds.
So I'm running the 32bit version. But obviously I want to test the 64bit version
on my 64bit machines.
Does anyone know how to get the 64bit version?
