How do you backup Vista Partition

Ghost 2003 cannot be used in Vista. Is there a software that can backup Vista in
another partition (like Ghost 2003 in XP) so that Vista can be restored later?

Acronis True Image will clone Vista install if booted from the CD and imaged to an
external USB drive. The .tib image then can be reinstalled sucessfully.
I have personally imaged and restored Vista Beta 2 using ATI version 8 several times
easily this way.
Multi-OS setups will need the partition assignments and boot setup for previous OS
preserved.
But as a simple imaging backup of Vista installs an ideal solution.

I had previously used this software b4 on XP but it did not back up XP partition
like Ghost 2003 did and did not back up on DVDs, only CDs.

Have both Ghost 10 and ATI 8.0, find ATI vastly easier to use. XP imaged and restored
numerous time without issues to USB2 external drives. Imaging to DVD best only
done by copying drive image, not by directly to DVD, too unreliable and slow.

Vista has a full-featured Backup program that includes the capability to schedule
backups of important files. In some premium editions of Windows Vista, a new option
allows you to create an image-based backup – a la Norton Ghost – rather than a file-by-file
backup. In Vista Beta 2, the new image backup feature has a name: CompletePC Backup.
Looks nice, but I have not yet been able to do a restore. (see my other post)
