How to fix it so it automatically refreshes soon as you delete file/empty bin? The way to proper restore FULL or EMPTY bin icons is: go the desktop personalization where you have checked that box to restore the bin itself, select one of the icons (FULL for example) click "Change Icon", default should be selected among the item's list, say OK. Do the same fo the other icon. Now it refreshes approprietly.
