vista home premium crashed whilst i was scanning for virus problems with avg 7.5
free edition.I tried to re-boot and none of my 4 drives appeared in the boot drive
list.So after much experimenting i discovered that my main hdd worked but not if
either of my roms were plugged in and that is not just the power cables but both
ide and power. So i plugged my slave hdd in and it worked as well but i can't get
either of my cd\dvd roms to be recognised let alone work.Which creates a small problem
as i need the dvd rom on my pc at least to be able to repair vista.joy joy joy thanks
bill !.so does any one know of a solution .

This sounds much more like a hardware issue than a Vista issue.
