Problem Printing

I had a friend of mine install Vista on my computer. He set it up where when you
turn on your computer you can choose if you want to run either Windows XP or Vista.
I am having problems printing when I use Vista. When I try to print, it says:
           Internet Explorer Script error
           Line 1828
           Char: 1
           Error: Unspecified error
           Code 0
           Url: res://ieframe.dll/preview.dlg

On Windows XP, it prints. Does anybody know how to fix this on Vista?

Hey Brad, does he have the two OS's on separate partitions? Otherwise you could get conflicting errors like that one. Especially VISTA.

Shawn, he thinks it has something to do with scripting or Active X error. Maybe something
from the Security.

Boy I am confuse.

Not sure either now. Only thing I can think of is to make sure the drivers for your printer are fully Vista compatible, & to double check your security settings in IE for any options that shouldn't/should be checked. Especially around the scipting & active X sections. Good luck, hopefully someone else that experienced this will post & help more. Sorry

Thanks for your help. Yeah I hope someone can help me because I have been trying
to figure this out for a while. I tried google, yahoo, and askjeeves but nothing.

I have Lexmark X1100 and tried downloading the driver and it stills does the same
thing.

I am actually going to school for computer engineering and this is definitely something
I would like to learn about. But right now, I hope someone on these boards can help
me out b/c again, its a hassel switching just to print.

HI, I BOUGHT A VISTA COMPATABLE LAPTOP IN DEC. I RECEIVED THE UPGRADE & INSTALLED IT LAST WEEKEND. MY LEXMARK 7350 QUIT PRINTING. I GET THE SAME ERROR MSG. I TRIED NEARLY EVERY DAY LAST WEEK TO INSTALL THE DRIVER FROM LEXMARK WITH NO LUCK. THE SESSION WOULD TIME OUT AT AROUND 10% DOWNLOAD. TONITE I FINALLY GOT IT INSTALLED & I STILL CAN'T PRINT. WHAT IS THE SCRIPT ERROR ON THE PAGE & WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? WHAT CAN I DO TO SOLVE THIS? I'M COMPUTER CHALLENGED, PLEASE MAKE IT SIMPLE FOR ME. THANX.
