Hi Bob-
Right click on the Zip file & select PROPERTIES. Click on the CHANGE button & then
click on the BROWSE button towards the bottom right. You want to select WINDOWS EXPLORER.
File path is: C:/Windows/explorer
Click on OPEN & then OK & then make sure it says opens with Windows Explorer next
to the CHANGE button. If it does, click OK & your done. If not, repeat above.
This will do it for ya.

This will open the zipfile & show contents. Still missing:
- ability to drag file object to zip & have it added to zipfile
- icon appears different than 'compressed folder' default.

Hi Jim,
Do you have another ZIP program installed? That would cause the ZIP icon to be different.
This will show you how to restore the built-in ZIP feature of Vista.

There are no dumb questions, just the people that do not ask them.

Nearly a year and a half later, I needed this and it worked for me. Thanks Shawn.
