I just bought i new hp computer with windows vista ultimate 64-bit. It crashes every time i try to run a video clip with windows media player. But this only happens after i bring it out of sleep mode. If i do a fresh reboot everything works fine. Its very annoying.

Does yours have nvidia?

Apparently theres LOTS of trouble with nvidia drivers and Vista. I think thats where
my trouble is coming from.

Just do a Google search for nvidia and vista and you'll see what I mean

Yes i have the NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS. Thanks for the info i will check it out. I tryed installing real player but that made my compter crash even worse. Then i read on the web site that real player doesnt fully support vista. Theres all kinds of programs that i want to use like winamp but there not yet supported by vista 64-bit.
