Library not Registered for Help and Support

I recently bought a new PC loaded with Windows Vista. While I've had several issues, the most recent one is something I know very little (or nothing) about. I wanted to get some quick info about my system, so I tried to select "System Information" under "Help and Support" on the Start menu. However, when I did, the error I got was "Library not Registered" for Script : C:\Windows\Help\OEM\Scripts\sysinfo.jse The associated code is 8002801D. What concerns me is that Microsoft says this : "The "Library not registered" detail string indicates that there is a problem with the registry information for this object. The registry entry may be missing or contain incorrect information, or the user may not have permission to read the registry entry. This article describes how to resolve the problem when the information in the registry is correct, but the user does not have permission to read it." Why would something so basic to the OS have a registry problem? What can I do to fix this? More importantly, what can I do to find out what caused it? Any help appreciated.

I have the same problem, same results, looked everywhere, can't find any info on how to fix. Just about ready to hit system recovery, but don't really want to. Somebody out there must have had this problem and fixed it. Help.
