If there is any software associated with the mouse, see if there is a new version of it, then uninstall then reinstall the existing or install the new software. Good luck! It's not a hardware issue, I think it's got something to with the video driver, mouse driver and of course windows vista. I had been using Display Fusion Freeware to allow different wallpaper on each monitor. I uninstalled it 1/2 hr ago and so far so good.
