Hi, my daughters just bought a vista laptop the system tray is bursting with icons in xp you just click run/msconfig where is it in vista thanks in advance Neil

Steve's suggestion and link to place the Run command on your start menu works well, 
and I have done this on mine.  Alternatively, though, you can also type "msconfig" 
in the search box found on your start menu and it will give you the program to click 
on in the results box.

C:\Windows\System32\msconfig.exe drag the exe to the Start button and drop it there.
