when i use wi fi internet connection-the dial-up dialog box keeps appearing sporadically.

Control Panel
Internet Options
Connections
Put a checkmark in "Never Dial A Connection"
Click Apply and OK.

Also be aware that even checking the "Never Dial...,
if for some reason you wifi or software can not access the net you dial up box will
pop up "suggesting you try it as an alternative in mind".
