Hello, One of the module requires the following, Hardware ID (HID): A unique string derived from a fingerprint of an individual computer. The HID is a unique identifier for the computer from which it is derived. There are APIs or interfaces in windows to access the device id of the device connected to the system. I want to know whether a similar API or an interface exists to access the hardware id of the computer. Any information about the hardware id of the computer would be helpful. thankx & rgds, ChandraBN.

Please define your purpose a little better. What are you trying to accomplish. This is not a normal area for the average user!
