Internet Explorer 7: Page cannot be displayed

I am running Windows Vista with Internet Explorer 7. I have a cable/broadband wireless connection. When I click on certain links on some websites, I get a page saying, "Page cannot be displayed." If I click on the same links using Firefox, they work fine. I had deleted the Explorer's cookies, files and history. I also flushed the DNS, and unplugged my cable modem and router. For some reason, the issue remains. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. -Dan

Try using Windows Update to update Vista. There are some fixes for IE7.
Next thing to try is open IE, go to Tools, Internet Options, Connections tab, and
then LAN Settings. Tick the box to Automatically detect settings.
This may or may not work but it's worth a try.

Good luck!
