4 Gigs of RAM

Fellow IT guys, This ins't really an annoyance but a question. I installed SP1 on my desktop and 2 laptops all running vista home premium 32 Bit. on my desktop PC I had 4 gig installed but of course due to the limitation of the 32 Bit OS, only 3 gig was recognized. I now notice it is now recognizing 4 gig. Does this mean that this has been corrected, or is it just memory detection. I haven't checked to see if the system is using all the mem yet, but wanted to ask to see if anyone else had noticed...

This is just a correction of SP1.It has always recognized all 4 gigs of ram it just
reported what was available to the o/s due the limitation of memory address' some
were reserved for hardware. There was so many questions/support tickets devoted to
this subject they just decided to report all the ram within the o/s to stop wasting
time on this.
