Window colour and appearance

I started changing but I could not get good results on these after trying various permutations and combinations. The text is wishy washy and not sharp and pleasant to read. There is no default settings to go back to. Can any one advise me how to get the best text letters? Many thanks. Bibek

You should have 'Windows Aero' & Windows Vista Basic' as defaults. At the bottom
of your screen go to the Blue Highlighted 'Open Classic Appearance Properties...'.
This will give you the traditional XP Colour propertied box, where you will find
them. You must be European! You spell the word "Colour" in the old style.

Also, if you have an LCD monitor, try finding and auto-adjust option because i remember when I had blurry text, I pressed auto-adjust, and everything was fine after.

Something else you might try is "Auslogics" BoostSpeed Software. It has a very nice
Font Smoothing Tweak.
