Being very tired and dis appointed in my 3 month old laptop with Vista Premium, I am thinking about removing Vista and purchase and install XP Pro. Can any one kindly let me know if this is advisable and a good idea or not. Thank you. Doherty

First find out if it is possible: consult the manufacturer to see if there are XP drivers for all the hardware you have.

Just adding to martin's comment - you can usually check yourself on the manufacturer's
website if xp drivers are available. If they are make sure you download them first
and store them safely (CD/DVD, memory stick, external drive) not on the machine!
Certainly a good idea (IMO) if they are available.

If they're not available from manufacturer's site, they may still be available elsewhere
(other people may have the same problem - and have found and posted drivers) - but
would need some time, effort and expertise to track them down (google...)
