To set file association to unknown application

I have vista home basic notebook.

I wanted to open a file with "py" extension in notepad.

Originally the file was not associated to any application.

While opening the file in notepad I forgot to clear the checkbox "always use this
programme".

So now all "py" files are associated to notepad.

I know how to change the programme associated with the file but I want "no programme
is associated with the file type". That means I want "unknown programme" as the
programme associated with "py" file in "control panel>default programme>set associations"

How can i do it?

Thanks
