Transferring Favorites and address bookl

Thanks to all who offered help on getting laptop to see the internet.
My question now is how do I transfer (copy) my favorites and address book from my
desktop to the laptop. I'm using a wireless router Linksys WRT54G between the two.
This initally was setup by a tech and was lost when we had to reinstall the software
on the laptop.
Thanks,
Fred

Favourites: navigate to C:\Documents and Settings\[account name]\Favorites
and copy the whole folder from one PC to the equivalent location in the other.
Address Book: that depends what app you were keeping your addresses in ?

Use the Address book Export feature to send a Copy to the Desktops Desktop, then
that File can be Copied to the Laptop, where you open the Address Book on the Laptop,
and use it's Import Feature, and point it to the Address Book File
that is from the Desktop. The Address Book file will also open when Clicked on, so
you can Keep it and use it as a stand a lone Address Book too.
You can also
find a lot of tutorials online with pictures if you need more information .
