Gadget gallery

When downloading additional gadgets, they are saved
as .gadget - each one as a file.
Whats need to do be done next, in order for them to
appear in the gadget gallery and to be added ?
Another words, they are stored currently in My
Documents folder. I know they should be applied in
Program Files folder. How do I do that ?
Also how all this been done in Win XP Black Edition ?
I know it's an XP, but it has that feature as in Vista.

They should install like any program by clicking on them
