previous system restore points

System properties shows only my last or Most Recent Restore point.
Kind have a brain freeze right now so don't remember how to access my previous points.
Appreciate a refresher. When I create a restore point, only that point is shown -
Need to see previous points.
Thanks in advance . . . frank

If the restore points are gone, then no way to get them back.

I understand that. But if I create another restore point, it's then listed as the
most recent. What happened to the previous points.?
I should have a choice of restore points if I made more than one, plus where are
the others that supposedly are made daily.?
I've never disabled system restore and have plenty HD space etc.
Thanks for the quick comeback.

I know it's not very reliable, but it's saved my butt a lotta times in XP and before.
Been thru all the FAQ's already - nothing applicable.
Thanx again . . . frank

My Dad had problems where no restore points were made. He never installed software,
and the Computer when He used it was never idle, so Windows couldn't make a System
check point. What I did was found a script with Google that when put in the Startup
Folder just made a System Restore point when Windows first Booted up for the Day.

There is a very Strong possibility the you have set the amount of space to use on
your H/D to a size that will only accommodate 1 restore point. Also do you have more
than 1 drive? That can become very helpful. And there is a slim chance you set the
time to save a restore point too short. Just some thoughts!

If I were you I would take the path of least resistance in "recovering" actually
creating new system restore points by downloading a freeware called System Restore
Point Creator.
System Restore Point Creator, according to the article found at:http://www.softpedia.com/ProgDownload/System-Restore-Point-Creator-Download-6104.html,was
designed 2 be a simple and quick tool to create system restore points. It beats the
default Restore Point UI in Windows OS, the articles assures us by: a) Providing
a restore point from the command line. b) providing a "one-click" restore point creation.c)
enabling the user to configure and automatically create a system restore point called
"Daily_Restore_Point via the System Restore Point setup program's shortcut.Read more
about this freeware at:http:://www.softpedia.com/get/tweak/System-Tweak/System-Restore-Point-Creator.shtml.
A fellow IT techie pointed it to me when a PC of a client had system restore problems.
My fellow tech swore by it, so I tried it and it worked! It is up to u. You can troubleshoot
your System Restore Points by the standard Windows method or tread in new waters
and try this freeware. Tell us about it if you decide to use it. Have fun and best
of luck. Don't forget the main website for this freeware: http://softpedia.com/ and
also check a comment about this freeware at: http://winvistaclub.com/t2.html.
