The Windows Help and Support button is missing from the right pane of my Start Menu.
Can anyone help figure out why this is and how to restore it? Here is a picture of
what I am talking about:

Many thanks!

Hi adoodfella,
Check in the Start menu Customize properties window to make sure that "Help" is checked.
This tutorial will show you how to if needed.

Hope this helps,

Thanks for your reply Shawn.
Oddly, I don't see the "Help" option in the drop down menu under Customize?
Also, I noticed that when I try and pull up Help and Support manually and select
it, the Search Menu pulls up... Something is strange....

agoodfella,
Did you by chance use a method like the one in this tutorial to replace the "Help
and Support" button in the Start menu with "Search" instead?
http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/134065-search-context-menu-item-restore-after-vista-sp1.html
Does Help open when you click on Computer and click on the ? help icon?

Shawn are you sure that link is correct? I might have way back when, but if I did,
I'd like to get the Help and Support back, can you help?
Thanks again

I found it odd that in the Taskbar properties --> Start Menu --> Customize options
that HELP does not appear as an option to "tick" or "untick" .... what gives?

Sorry agoodfella,
It should be this link below instead. Click on the "Restore Help and Support" in
Option One to see if that will fix it for you. It restores the default values back
for Help.
