i have a vista operating system and i wish to wipe the vista operating sysytem and
install xp proffesional or home were am i likly to nfind all the nessercy driver
utilities for doing this help would be much appriciated

Until you are much more experienced, you should defer to someone else's expertise
on your end, perhaps the techs where you bought the PC can do it for you.

If the computer is brand-name (Dell, IBM, Toshiba etc.) visit the manufacturer's
website and see if XP drivers are available for your model. Some new computers with
Vista pre-installed cannot be changed to XP due to hardware incompatability. If
the manufacturer is offering XP drivers for your machine, then it is likely that
you will not encounter that problem.
If you have a custom-made computer, you will have to look up drivers for each piece
of hardware you have in your machine and see if XP drivers are available.
