Adobe Premiere Pro & Encore crashes

When I got a new computer running Vista, it would not allow Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0
video editing software - which I bought in 2006 - to function. So I upgraded to
Premiere Pro CS3 which includes Adobe Encore DVD authoring & burning software. But
both applications keep crashing. Adobe technical support folks have offered various
fixes but none have worked. Finally I got a possible hint with a dialogue box citing
Sense Code 52102 but there is very little information out there on this problem.
Any ideas?

This again is probably a question for those guys at Adobe. BUT...
I use "DVD Lab-Pro" and they have overcome the Frame indexing problem that is so
common. They have an 'Automatic Indexing' feature that works nicely and you can switch
from 'GOP' (which is faulty and is used by most editors) to 'Frame Indexing' mode,
which preserves the sync continuously. I have viewed seudo Professional productions
for companies like "Trainsignal" who make videos for computer certification exams
that had this problem. Now if the people who make educational computer vids can't
get it right?!?
By the way I have the old ver.1.xx DVD Lab-Pro . I tried the update to 2.xx and never
could get it to work correctly so I went bake to Ver.1.xx. Sometimes best effort
just isn't enough.
Now, Mr. D. Davis at Trainsignal.com has changed to using either Adobe or something
that looks a lot like it. You might be able to get a query through to him and see
if this is inded what the both of you went through. If he asks which vid I am referencing
it is an early version of his A+ tutorial. and the corrected one is the newer Home
Server tutorial.
