I have a question in hopes that someone can help. I have a laptop with windows vista and It came with microsoft word 2003 when I tried to get in it askes for a product key. It says it's on the back of my computer. So I wrote it down and entered it and it says wrong product key. But it's right because it's were it's suppose to be and it says product key. I tried several times and it won't work. would anyone have any answers for me? thanks.

Do you mean Vista is asking for a product key or Word 2003? (did laptop come with
Vista? If so, are you sure its not Word 2007 - or even Office 2007? Many vista laptops
come with a 60 day trial version of Office 2007 - ie, after 60 days it won't work
properly without a key - so usually it prompts for key. If this is the case, you'd
need to buy licence for full version to get key).

No vista doesn't have anything to do with it as far as i know. it's when I try to access microsoft word that it asks for the product key. and it's 2003 word. so I don't know what to do.

The Product Key on the Computer Case is probably for Vista, so you need to find the right Key for Word. If you can't find it, then Install Open Office. It is a free open source program, and has many of the same features of Word.

You can use Belarc Advisor - free to down load- just google it. This will give you a profile of you computer hardware and software. It will show you the product keys of all your licensed software. That should get you rolling.
