I love the "recently used programs" feature of the start menu. I use small icons, 
and I have 15-20 shortcuts in there at all times. My problem is that, on my notebook, 
I'll sometimes go a while without using it. When I open it up, the list is half full 
or less, as it seems that Windows lets things in this list "expire" after not being 
used in so many days.

I'd like to be able to either turn off that expiration or lengthen it so the list 
stays populated.

I know I can permanently pin shortcuts to the menu, and I have for some --- however, 
I like the rest of the list to be dynamic.

Anyone know of a registry key I can edit or a tweaking program I can download/buy 
that will give me this functionality?

I don't want to see all programs, but the 15-20 I use most often. On a desktop, this wouldn't be an issue, but on a laptop I don't use frequently, these shortcuts "expire" often from that menu.
