Windows Explorer crashes

How can I stop Windows Explorer from crashing. I installed a new system and al I
did was...
1. Set up networking.
2. Installed Easy Dental 2007 (which included Adobe Acrobat 7.1)
Now all I do is right-click the screen and Windows Explorer crashes.
How do I resolve this?

May be your Dental Software, The easydental Web site seems to think Vista sucks
right now, but may be able to get it working someday

How about that! How many years now since Vista first went into beta and third part
vendors still can't get it together. I still don't have drivers for a so called 'Professional'
sound card. I also find it amazing that so many little newcomers are popping up and
filling the gap where these lazy lay-abouts have dropped the ball. If a newbie can
just jump in and do it why can’t the old-timers just follow the rules? And people
think I am stubborn! Since I started to do things the MS way I have not had a single
hiccup with Vista, with the exception of lacking drivers etc. from other vendors
of course.

Quote from Manufacture of a couple sound cards I have, I also have similar
problems with Video Capture Hardware.
http://support.turtlebeach.com/site/kb_ftp/588219830.asp
"Vista has brought a new way of 'protecting' audio/video content from
unauthorized copying (a.k.a. copyright infringement) that has limited the
functionality of many audio and video peripherals.
According to http://www.cs.auckland.ac.nz/~pgut001/pubs/vista_cost.html
there is much disabling of functionality introduced by Vista's new audio/video
content protection features. The most obvious is the loss of the Stereo Mix
function (ability to record "what you hear") in most soundcards. This is not
a technical limitation of the product, it is purely a by-product of Vista's
new content protection features.
Another common problem is difficulty in getting the AC3 Pass-Through to work
through the optical S/PDIF Output (Toslink output). You may need a newer
version of your DVD playing software in order to get this to work. We have
thoroughly tested the S/PDIF Outputs on our soundcard products, and they all
are able to pass Dolby Digital or dts encoded digital audio with no problems.
Vista does limit the sampling rate to 48kHz, however.
We still recommend Windows XP for 'mission critical' audio home entertainment
and video capture/editing work. Windows XP is stable and has proven to be a
great platform for home entertainment PC use. If you really need to get
something done using our products for audio or video content recording or
editing, it's still best to do it on a PC running Windows XP (Home or Pro
seem to work equally well). We do not have full support for the x64 versions
of XP or Vista."

I agree 99% with the only exception being, 'How come does it take so many "YEARS"
to get it figured out when S-Blaster got it right out of the box. Too bad I don't
have an Emu card. No, it is a problem with giving a damn about their business and
the fact that some companies that make OSs try to follow the rules and legal demands
for creating these newer masterpieces. And again how come little startup newbie’s
can do it without any problems. Too many chiefs in charge that want to be king of
the world, like that joker that runs Symantec that just doesn't like it that he didn't
get his way with MS. Spoiled little crybaby. I just about inserted a political remark
so I better go away.

The maker of a Audiophile Sound Card I have just recently finally released Vista
Drivers, but to late for Me to try since I don't have Vista on a Hard Drive anymore.
My general complaint about Vista despite not working with about 1500 bucks worth
of My Hardware, and Software, is it doesn't do anything better then Previous Windows
OS. All I could really do with Vista reliably was Web Surf, and Word Document stuff,
it Crashed on any Audio, Video stuff I tried.
