Windows Media Player Help.Won't stream after update

After the latest Windows updates (KB905866,KB955302,KB954366,KB954154,KB938464,and SILVERLIGHT)my media player stopped streaming internet radio stations I listen to everyday. It says "connecting" then goes to "Ready" where it stays. I removed the updates and had no change. I then did system restore from 2 weeks ago. No change. This happened before after SP1 and I had to remove it to get it working. Then I reformatted, reinstalled SP1 and never had another issue. Do not want to do this again. Here is what I have done based on my search results on this topic: In WMP options I unchecked RTSP/UDP,checked the box for connect to the internet, set WMP as my default player, made sure it is associated with.asx files. I also disabled Norton 360 firewall and auto protect(Windows firewall has always been off)I am connected to the internet via ethernet connection.I have seen a lot of people wth the same problem but no resolutions. There is one who repaired by renaming a folder. I do not understand how to do it though so I will post the suggestion and maybe someone can help. They said to rename "windows media folder" At:%appdata%\local\microsoft Any help would be much appreciated.

I have figured this one out. If anyone has same issue, or has a greyed out configure button for the proxy settings in WMP options, then PM me or respond to this thread.
