Greetings All,
My laptop I use in my house with wireless internet when I go online. Updates
usually are automatic but icon says windows can't install updates. I checked what
updates were downloaded and the one thats says failed is
Windows fix pack 1, not installed. Help need your PC knowledge. thanks

"Windows Fix Pack 1"? Are you perhaps referring to Service Pack 1 SP1)? If so, there
are prerequisites, and certain updates will not install if SP1has not been installed
first.

If it really is a question of "Fix Pack 1", then please don't have already read this
reply, as I don't know what that might be.
