HP or the motherboards maker can, assuming they made XP drivers for it. If they did
not you are wasting your time looking elsewhere.

Can't be done:

and

Don't see your operating system?
If your operating system is not listed, HP does not currently have software or driver
downloads available for your product for that operating system . . .

If you didn't like Vista why did you buy a computer with it on there, should have
bought a new one with XP pro on it or go looking for an old one. I suggest you ROLL
this one right back to the store where you bought it and make a trade, I'm sure they
will ROLL one right out for you with XP on it.
If you don't like a Caddy go back to a Model A. Fran

In Car terminology, I like to like of Vista as more of a Lemon. Seems a more fitting
description. :)

After trimming all the security and easy of use junk used as selling points vista
is not bad really, kind of like XP with a few settings moved around most of the time.
It still has it's issues but it is not the second coming of windows ME by any means.

I had dozens of Blue screens type crashes every week with Vista. Never even had that
many crashes on My ME Computer in about 7 or 8 years of use in the Office. After
about a month with Vista I couldn't take it any more.:)

Guess I got lucky then by getting a good copy, even ME had some a few. One of my
classmates had a copy of ME that worked perfectly, pirated interestingly enough.

After my last post, I thought about it, and the WinMe Computer in the Office was
actually a couple months away from 10 years in use. The only reason I retired it
was the Printer died over the summer, and none of the Cheap Printers at the Office
supply store Worked with old 9X systems. So I moved to a XP Backup Computer that
I had for the eventual move.
The ME Computer is still plugged in, though without
a Monitor, just in case I find some customer information is missing, and needs to
be retrieved from the Drive.:)
