Many of my DVD's do not have the Digital Copy included, how do I burn these to my desktop/laptop?

You do not, if the DVD does not have digital copy available it does not have a digital
copy available. You play it with the disk in the computer's DVD drive if you want
to watch it on your computer. Also this post is not related to the OS.

I'm not trying to STEAL the DVD (seems as though your reply is implying this), just be able to play the movie on my desktop/laptop w/o the DVD. I know this CAN be done, just forgot how.

And I know this is NOT an OS related problem/annoyance, I usually get great help from this forum so I thought I'd ask this Q as well.

If it has no digital copy option provided by the studio then there is no way to do
it without stealing. Your issue is with the studio so not an OS problem and is inappropriate
to post here. I am not the one that writes these laws nor do I write the rules so
do not take that tone with me.

I'm not taking any tone. I just know for a fact this can be done, I just forgot how.

Well, you are wrong, you need third party software to do it.

I know I need 3rd-party software, just forgot which one; but I think I found the answer. Again, not trying to steal movies, just want to watch the one's I own on my comfuser w/o having to use the DVD.
