Can I type in Job Application Received On Line

I feel stupid for asking this, but I have downloaded a company employment application,
and wondered if there some way I can use Wordperfect or Word to fill in the blanks.
It was a PDF file. I know I can print it out and fill in the blanks with a pen,
but I a do not have good writing abilities.

Not really. A PDF is not designed for that kind of use.

Like Adam says unless whoever made the PDF designed it so you could fill it in you
won't be able to do it.Our provincial/federal(Canada) governments have online forms
in PDF format you can fill out on your computer then print out to physically sign.

What I do with Tax forms is display the pdf full screen,
Use Print Screen, and save as jpg
Crop jpg to just the size of the pdf
Import the jpg to a OpenOffice Drawing file
Insert Text, playing around with Font and Document
Sizing to line up with form Text lines.
Then crop any waste you don't want, save as jpg
and Print.
