I'm trying to find out, if i disable UAC in Vista, is it the same 'danger' as in XP? That is, if i was content with the security of XP, can i disable UAC and be fine with it? thanks J

Yes, I turn UAC off myself as it gets on my nerves, your call if you want it on or not.
