hi to you i succeded with the first half of removing the anoyance. can somebody help me how to open internet explorer so i can navigate to "%....DRIVE%"........AND SO ON ? THANK YOU SO MUCH MARJO

That's your system drive, probably C:\

First, it's not internet explorer, it's windows explorer.  Click on Start button, 
then click on Computer (on the right side), and then right click on C-drive and select 
Explore.  

Now double click on the Windows folder, then double click on Microsoft.NET, then 
double click on Framework, then double click on v3.5, and then double click on Windows 
Presentation Foundation.  This should get you to the DotNetAssistantExtension folder. 
Right click the folder to delete.  This should do it.
