win XP re-install Tuesday, September 18, 2001 at 12:04 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by sergent (5 messages posted) hi, I erase a file system and crash,, so I re-install XP.. no-problem,, working good.. Problem is,, not having access to other partition on disk (40gig,, 5 other partition) they were NTFS compress.. now with explorer,, say G is not accessible.. access denied H is not accessible acces denied.. Same if I go with dosprompt.. H: and ask for dir: access denied... ho..ho..?? 0 byte availlable.. BUT.. if I go on by control panel.... disk manager ..disk drive.....property of my Maxtor.. and on Volume and press there all there.. choice a partition, property.. I can un-commpress them.. and it start to uncompress.. seem to work.. but after reboot.. ?6 nothing change,, Where could be the problem..?
