XP Filc Copy Wednesday, September 19, 2001 at 7:53 am Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by shadowknight (21 messages posted) I recently tried to back up a large amount of data onto an HD which was running XP. THe initial copy worked fine, but I put the Data back on a WIn98SE machine and roughly half is readable, the other is simply garbled or non-existent. I tried multiple times, so it is not a sinlgle stroke of bad luck. The data which still resides on the XP drive is in tact.
