Having looked into this further, (my HP 8100i and EZCD5) their respective websites
say that patches/updates for the HP CD-Rs and Roxio EZCD will be issued on or just
after the official release of Windows XP.
I now use XP for testing when I don't need the CD-r but otherwise I get on with things
under W2K Pro. In other words, once the patches are up and running, I shall transfer
to WinXP pemanently.
