Formatting Windows XP

You are probably having this problem because you selected the NTFS file system for
Windows XP install. To remove the partition and reformat your drive, you will need
to find a Windows 2000 or XP bootable CD. Insert the CD and begin installation, and
when it gets to the screen about choosing a partition delete the current partition
and any others that may be on there. Reboot the system. Then you should be able to
use FDISK or whatever to make a new partition & format.
