I am actually looking for a solution to a similar problem. I uncheck a "read only"
folder and hit apply, but I can go to properties immediately after that and it has
reverted to "read only". The files themselves can be toggled on and off, but the
folders dont seem to respond. Any solutions or is there somewhere I can turn this
feature off.......if it is a feature?
