I have experienced exactely the same problem in ME. The folders get mysteriously
marked Read only and I can't get the read only attribute to turn off. I have posted
a message on the ME forum a week ago, but no luck so far. Only way I could get around
this is to create a new folder, copy all files in the read only folder into the new
one, delete the old one and rename the new one. Bit of a schlepp, but until some
innovative person comes up with an easier way, this seems to be the only solution.
Why it happens? I would like to know, I don't like these kinds of unexplainable surprises.
