I have a usb mouse and i have to disconnect it and reconnect it every time winxp
starts to get it to work.
I recently upgrated from win2k and i did not have this problem there however when
i was running win98se i had the same problem.
I have upgrated the chipset drivers and checked weather there is enough power for
the usb port and everything is ok, and there are no devices conflicts either.
I also have creative soundblaster live soundcard and the creative launcher program
freezes everytime i try to start it (this is the program that hides itself on top
of the desktop to allow you to modify the volume and other handy stuff) I have gone
to the windowsupdate site and they found an update for the soundcard drivers wich
i installed but i cant find any updates for the program itself on the creative website.
If you are still reading this long and boring post thanks, if you have any advices
pls help me out ... oh and did they change the registry in some way in winxp i have
gone to the place were windows puts the programs that boot at starup and not all
the programs that boot are there, only a few and the rest is not in the
"start up" folder , any idea were the rest can be ? .
