Since you have another operating system available, you can run the xp setup from
there. Durring the install, you can direct the install to the partition you want
and the type of file system you want. Be sure to check under the advanced feature
durring the install. This is how I did a complete new install to my extended partition
while ME was installed to the primary partition. The dual boot feature worked fine.
