I totally agree. The only reason I run win2000Pro SP2 instead of win98 or 95 or
ME is because it hasn't crashed once since my first install, the programs run faster
and so do my games. And yes, it does take longer to load because of all the services,
but hey! that's the price to pay for all the rest and IMHO, it's worth it's virtual
weight in virtual gold!!!
There's no way I'm gonna shell out the big bucks for winXP if all it does it make
everything "prettier" and gobble up twice the ram win2000 does...
