i can play ever type of movie file, except for mpegs, i get the sound, but a blank screen. Windows xp movie player doesn't try to download a codec, so it thinks it's working, but just a black screen is all i get. This works with any video card, and with or without additional codecs installed. I have never been able to get .mpg or .mpeg files to play in xp. It plays avi files perfect, which makes me think it's a mpeg-4 codec problem. Has anybody else experienced anything like this?? If so, how did you get around it? Thanks... p.s. i have tried with more than 1 video card, thats not the problem.
