If your Windows XP CD is bootable, set up your BIOS to boot from your CD drive and on the first dialogue box click on advance option and clic on the option that let you select the drive or partition you want to use to install Win XP.(prepare a partition to receive xp ahead of time, 1.5 gig minimum, I suggest 5 gig for full confort) If your CD isn't bootable do it from windows explorer (select the CD drive with your Win XP cd). Windows XP will install a boot manager in your MBR (master boot record). Your partition where your installing XP doesn't need to be primary, logical partition will still be good since xp is a second o/s. Hoping this help ! wildsurfercan@hotmail.com
