Hai There,
I don't know the how to disable the feature but I have a solution.
I had the problem with copying .AVI files from my I-Server to my workstation. It
just wouldn't work. So Before I copy I renamed the AVI files to something else like
.AVS or so.
Then I renamed my DivX movies to .DivX to connect it to the player of my choice.
DivX is for Windows XP not a multimedia format so it will not check the folder or
files constantly.
And the latest DivX drivers doesn't support XP yet so there's really no harm done..
Hopefully it can work for you. If you cannot rename in Explorer try to rename in
a command-prompt screen.
Good luck,
Greetz, C.B.
