In a dual-boot system, such as win98 & WinXP/Win2k, you need to edit boot.ini file
and make the default booting operating system to be Windows 98. In the boot.ini
file, you will need to delete the references to WindowsXP/2K from the file. This
will prevent your machine from detecting the boot instructions for these operting
systems. This is also assuming that you have WinXP/2K installed on a separate partition.
Then all you have to do is restart your machine, which should boot into your Windows
98 without showing any other boot options. When you have booted up in Win98, you
can just delete all of the files on the WinXP/2K partition.
