So far when it comes to Directx games, and even possibly 3d in general, i keep getting weird pauses in frame rates usually when something occurs in the game (like when i turn a corner). Regardless of how complex what happened is (sometimes i turn i corner to face a blank wall, or in contrast to face an open scene) this still happens. Also, i get slower fps than usually. Even at the lowest resolution, at lowest setting, at lowest details etc, this still happens. None of this happened under ME. i have a 500mhz P3, 384mb PC100, Geforce2mx400, 500mb swap file size, AGP2x, sblive5.1, dvd and cd-rw, 20GB (14gb free ) hard disk Any ideas to whats going on?
