Personally i dont think it matters wheather you do a clean install or not. I have win me and havn't had any major problems unless I knowingly caused them myself, lol. Ive actually heard more complaints about xp than me. I'm sorry this probly doesn't help you much but I can't believe people are having so many wierd problems with win me, it boggles the mind.
